Dear Hampton Academy Families,

Please join us Thursday evening, March 8, at 6:30 PM in the Marston School cafeteria for a community safety forum.  The forum will address safety measures in place at the schools and provide information on the collaboration with the Police and Fire Departments.  There will be an opportunity for questions and concerns from families and community members.  Joining the Hampton SAU 90 Administrators will be members of the Hampton Police Department, including Chief Sawyer, Deputy Chief Hobbs and School Resource Officer Robinson.  In addition, members from the Hampton Fire Department, Chief Ayotte and the Emergency Response Team will also be present to offer information and answer questions.

We would like to remind you that student/parent conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, March 28, from 11:45 to 5:45 PM.   Student dismissal is at 11:30 AM.  More information will be sent home soon.  The second trimester ends Friday, March 16.  Report cards will be available on Monday, March 26.  Updated grade reports can be accessed online via the parent portal.  If you need assistance with PowerSchool, please call Pam Panarelli at 926-2000.

Tuesday, March 13, is the date for town elections.  The dining hall at Winnacunnet High School is the polling site for Hampton.   Our 8th graders will be attending “Step-Up Day” at WHS on Tuesday, March 13.  Students will get a tour of the building, meet staff, and receive information on course electives.  The course elective sheets received that day will be due back by Monday, March 19.

Also this month, The Hampton Academy Band and Chorus will be participating in the All SAU’s Band and Choral Festival at Winnacunnet High School Auditorium.  Performances start at 5:30 PM.

Hampton Academy students in good academic standing and with a current physical on file are eligible to participate in Spring sports; baseball, softball and track. Sign-ups will be during lunches on March 14, 15, & 16. If you have any questions, please call or email our athletic director, Jim Doherty.

Hampton Academy's mission is to provide an environment where all students are encouraged to reach their academic, artistic, social and physical potential in order to become productive citizens in an ever-changing world.  This mission is best achieved when staff, families, and community share the responsibility of educating our adolescents during their middle school years.
